Hi Tom i have a bitch who came on season at 17 months old she came on season at 29-5-2024 and she is still in milk and still has a lot of milk in her glands. She has started to bleed again from the vagina is this normal as i have not seen this before.

Hi Bill,
I’m sorry to say that this is certainly not normal, and I believe a trip to your vet is in order.
Mainly to have a cervix swab done, and most likely an ultrasound of her ovaries, as the only time I have seen problems such as this was due to either a severe infection or due to a cyst on one of the ovaries.
Keeping my fingers crossed that’s it’s a simply problem easily sorted.
