Hi Tom I give the mollasses everyday to my dogs Tom one of my dogs have came in season can I still give everyday the unsulfphured black strap mollassses when she’s in season and all way through her pregnancy thanks Donnie

Hi Donnie,
While black strap molasses contains worthwhile minerals and vitamins, it also contains Acrylamide which is listed as a toxic substance with possible long term cancer causing side effects.
While dietary black strap molasses appears to be safe in this regard, in my honest opinion it would be better if a bitch that was to be mated and have a litter of pups was not exposed in any way to something in the diet that could possibly have a toxic effect.
So my advice would be, no black strap molasses until the pups were weaned.
