Hi Dave,
There is no doubt that wheatgrass is beneficial to humans and would be beneficial to racing greyhounds as it contains a great range of vitamins and minerals, while it’s main ingredient chlorophyll should be beneficial in regard to maintaining red blood cells.
I have to confess that something like 30 years ago I did experiment with adding a tablespoon full of wheatgrass juice to the diets of four of my racing greyhounds, but when after a month they showed no obvious health or performance improvements I stopped using it. Also because it was at that time difficult and expensive to obtain, particularly when you were looking for fresh rather than powder.
Whether or not it’s worth it is hard to say, but if you are in a situation where a suitable source was available at a reasonable price, it certainly would not hurt to add a small dose to their main meal.
Cheers, Tom

Hi Tom, I know a few people that take it, due to different health problems and have found it to be beneficial. Its easy to grow, the most expensive part is to get a proper juicer for it. I am going to give it a go as much for myself as well as the dogs lol but just wanted to see if there was any problem giving it to the dogs.
Thanks Tom,
Dave.
