Hi tom if your feeding beef & chicken together or beef& mutton would it be best to feed raw or 3/4 cooked 1/4 raw . Donnie

Hi Donnie,
With canines there appears to be be no discernible difference in the food value of various types of meat whether cooked or raw other than for an improvement in smell and taste, and a reduction in the bacteria that may be present.
However, because greyhounds generally do not chew their food but are inclined to gulp it down, what is important for good digestion is that any meat is finely minced, and whenever possible it is thoroughly mixed in with the rest of the meal such as any carbohydrate components (kibble or bread) and if possible these are soaked to soften them.
