Hi Tom,
is there a balance here that needs to be right. if you work them hard then you have to fed them plenty which means your trying to get more food into them hence they could develope abit of a belly. its not fed wet-more moist.
is this true or false- i have a bitch here that is extremely fit but her back has not developed as i would like(stream lined and wider than ribs.belly) and there is a slight belly
is it just a matter of cutting back on both food and training ?
thanks
DJ

Hi DJ,
As they say in the classics "oils ain't oils", different types of diets have different effects in regard to body building and muscle development, a bit of research on body building websites may provide more info there if you wish to develop a better looking muscle structure on one of your greyhounds.
The other point being that it's never a good idea to provide just the one large meal if you need to increase muscle development, but rather a minimum of two equal sized meals with the right ingredients would be a better option without stretching the stomach.
Cheers, Tom
