A noisy stomach is usually the result of excessive gas in the stomach, and most often the result of eating something that has caused excessive fermentation during the digestive process.
Excessive gas in the stomach can make the dog feel ill, cause biliousness, and certainly stop it from eating.
The problem is that an excessive amount of gas in the stomach can in some circumstances cause a twisted bowel, result in severe bloat, which in many instances will cause death.
I would highly recommend that this problem be treated by your Veterinarian rather than by advice over the internet, however if you have Buscopan tablets handy give 1 tablet morning and night for two days, and for those two days feed only a bland diet such as cooked chicken and rice.
If the dog wont eat due to feeling bilious this can be treated with an anti nausea medication such as Stemetil by giving 1 tablet 1 hour before food.
Cheers, Tom

Hi Dazza,
There are so many illnesses that affect the gut and cause the dog not to want to eat that I believe your Veterinarian who has the opportunity to examine the greyhound and run various tests is the best person to provide advice on this issue.
