Hi Tom,
Long time reader first time poster. Thanks for all the great info.
Just wondering if you could give some advice on confidor being used as a flea treatment?
Is it is safe and at what dosage rate?
As with alot of information on greyhound forums there are alot of conflicting stories so i would like to hear your opinion.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Joe,
First of all an apology for the late reply, unfortunately I have been out of action for a little while. Secondly, and again unfortunately I’m not able to give you a definitive answer to your question.
As you know Confidor has the same active ingredient as Advantage, namely Imidacloprid. The strength of Advantage is 100 gm per litre and Confidor is a 35% suspension concentrate.
This being so I have no reliable method of determining the correct dilution rate to bring Confidor to the same dilution rate as Advantage.
Cheers, Tom
