I’m sorry Paula but when a greyhound is that severely dehydrated there is nothing I can suggest other than having your Vet put the dog on a drip, and then unfortunately it will only be a short term fix, unless some very fundamental issues are sorted out in regard to the dog’s basic health and the training methods that got it into this situation in the first place. hi tom, many thanks for reply..I have got the dog on a drip of duphaltye the vet says...the dog is an excitable type of dog and he knows when hes going racing when he jumps into the van and goes balistic for about 10mins before settleing down..when i got him into the kennel at the track he settled down but then in his race I found him to be cramping on the run home straight... he never done this before and water and milk is always provided for him in his kennel...
many thanks tom..
